Hello, i am Gaston Che, a senior year computer Engineering student from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the University of Buea, Cameroon. I am a JavaScript developer and have a lot of experience using JavaScript with it's libraries as well as frameworks. I have been working with JavaScript for the past 3 years and have worked on many projects using JavaScript.

I am interested in carrying out the "JavaScript Based Configuration UI" project in the openwisp community during this GSOC 2017 session. I believe my skill set with JavaScript, json,data modelling and UI development, makes this project a right fit for me. I will like some help in the direction of how to start contributing to the community. Maybe some issues or bugs with JavaScript in order to get started.

we have two open issues regarding the current configuration editor (a javascript widget in django):

The repo contains instructions on how to setup that module in an existing django project, do you have any experience with django?
