before saving the scene you have to save the level File>save Level  or you'll lost your drawings...

That doesn't always work, I saved my levels but it deleted them anyway. I'm hoping I just screwed up and it wont happen again. If it does I'll put it on the issue thread.

Just passing through

Are you sure?, you have to click on each of the level columns individually before clicking File > Save levels. I haven't had any problems other than the first time I saved the scene without the levels.

Alright, so what I've found so far is that every frame/group of frames is a level. You have to go to each cluster (not column) and save them individually. I think you may be able to multi select and save them.

OHH...this is just bad.

It happened to me also.

Although they program did warn me that "...Following file(s) are modified..." I had no ideal what files it was talking about.

But...It looks like it's the "Palettes" that don't get saved automatically with the scene and the palettes define the drawings. So you can save the palettes or the levels, but you have to do it for each palette (notice the capital letter that gets created on the frame when you change or create a new palette, A, B, C, D, etc..).

Not a nice workflow at all, and I'm surprised that more people aren't losing work.

i had some trouble with this too. what i did to combat the strange workflow is to change my keyboard shortcuts: 'S'-save level, Ctrl+'S' - save scene (default) Shift+Ctrl+'S' - save palette. every now and then i just click through and save everything. there are still some bugs and i lose work to crashes but it seems to work alright. another thing i've found is if you right click in you levels window there should be an option  "revert to last save" sometimes this fixes a glitch i've been having where drawings replace each other.

I'm sure we'll get most of the bugs worked out in the next six months or so. there's always a learning curve when it comes to open source releases.
