status of application submission

Hi.

Sorry in case I am posting this in the wrong location. But I really
don't understand the orkut website and how to reply to the
discussions.
I made an application and thought I had submitted it. I now finally
located the place again where I submitted it, and it say "verified",
but I don't know if this means if it's also submitted. I tried to send
it again, but am getting a red error on the top of the page (but no
explanation, so I have no idea what the error means.

So my question is, how do I know if an application is submitted
correctly?
