Question - On-Site APP Against Remote API

Hello people,
I craeted an APP and been testing with the Remote API. I could login with OAuth all ok. And get to request data just fine.
But I got a doubt that, I don't know in which way the API Calls gets related with an APP. I haven't indicated any appId in any moment, and pefrormed the calls from a different server then the ones indicated on the Manage Domains section.
How does the API Requests gets related with any of the users APPs?
