This is a major release of the engine, with several new features, changes, improvements and fixes.
Nearly 100 pull requests were closed, as documented in the changelog:

You can find the release notes (with the new features) here:

You can install on all supported platforms (Linux, Windows, macOS) by following the instructions given here:

This release of the engine is dedicated to George W. Housner.

The OpenQuake engine manual is available here:

As usual, the engine is not able to read or export computations
performed with previous releases, so if you have results you want to
keep, please export them before upgrading, otherwise please repeat the
computation.

That's all, please let us know if you have any trouble with the upgrade.

Due slowness in consuming build requests by the Fedora Build System (COPR) the OpenQuake Engine 2.7 RPM packages (for RedHat EL7/CentOS 7/SL 7) aren't immediately available.

While packages becomes available on COPR you can download them directly from our Countinous Integration/Delivery system:

$ yum install https://ci.openquake.org/job/builders/job/rpm-builder/105/artifact/oq-libs/build-rpm/RPMS/python-oq-libs-1.5.0-1.x86_64.rpm https://ci.openquake.org/job/builders/job/rpm-builder/105/artifact/oq-engine/build-rpm/RPMS/python-oq-engine-2.7.0-1.noarch.rpm

Full list of available packages is available here: https://ci.openquake.org/job/builders/job/rpm-builder/105/artifact/

Regards,
Daniele

Version 2.7.3 of the IRMT QGIS plugin (https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/svir/version/2.7.3/) has just been released. It is aligned with OpenQuake engine version 2.7.
It can be downloaded using the QGIS Plugin Manager (Plugins -> Manage and install plugins).
