OpenOLAT and Java 8

Hello,

I'm trying to find OpenOLAT's plan on supporting Java 8 now that Java 7 is end of life?  The Spring 3.2 implementation used by OpenOLAT does not work in Java 8, so the system cannot be upgraded.

Is there any plan to update OpenOLAT to Spring 4.0 or a different architecture that will run on Java 8?

Hi Colin

OpenOLAT 10.2 supports Java8. As a matte of fact, most of our OpenOLAT installations we operate for clients run under Java8 and Tomcat8
