OpenOLAT on Mac OS 10.9 ?

Hallo
I want to install OpenOLAT on MacOS 10.9
Is there an install docu available? (the website provides only an install docu for linux, isn't it?)

Tomcat 7.0.52 is running
openolat.war is successfully uploaded
mySQL 5.6.16  is running (width the intitial openolat database)
But Tomcat can't start/deploy OpenOLAT: "FAIL - Application at context path"
Any idea?

Hi Manfred

Normally we do not deploy the app with the WAR mechanism. It is recommended to unpack the war file and write the context descriptor including the database configuration etc. Then you need to setup the database and add a olat.local.properties file to the classpath (e.g. to the tomcat/lib dir). Then you can start OpenOLAT the first time.

Propably the problem was to add a olat.local.properties file to the classpath
I'm not very familiary with that :-)
I will test it these days
