Development Guide doc

Hi All,

I am very much new to open olat can anybody provide me any type of doc like development guide or something to make customization. I want to understand the workflow of the application from the ui level to the datasource and vice versa. I hope someone will help or have any doc which helps me understand the application.

Hi

 

When you set olat.debug=true in your olat.local.properties you will see a small bug icon at the left-top corner of your display. Click this and choose the debug button. Now the component hierarchy is decomposed and while hovering over the various components the controller, listerners and translators involved are revelaed. 

Then use the debugger in one of the controllers that interests you and step through the code. You will quickly get an impression how everyhing works.
