Hello,

I tried to configure the resource booking with PayPal, following what is written in the manual.

But when I try to make the booking of a course, for example, the software goes wrong with this error in olat.log

Can anyone help me to solve this issue?

Thanks

Hello

Did you have more informations in log files? The error only say that something wrong happens.

- It can be an issue with your configuration ( are you using the sandbox or a real account? )
- The amount of the transaction is not valid ( the amount must be a positive number the form 10.15, maximum of 2 digits after the point )
- Is your <ip_server> visible from Paypal? Or is it an internal IP address ( typically something like 192.168.1.x )

Best regards
Stéphane

Hello Stéphane,

We are using sandbox account for Paypal, the amount of transaction is valid and my IP address is internal ADDRESS.
Is it possible that only the third condition is mandatory?

I get the error too. But it doesn't give any reasons. I must investigate deeper.

Using the sandbox is very annoying.

I have the wrong APP-ID. The sandbox has its own dummy APP-ID. After it works, don't forget that Paypal's make a call to your OpenOLAT. If it cannot send the IPN request, it won't work.
