CP-Export from Wiki with minor bug

Dear OpenOLAT Team,

 

I tried to export some Wikis as CP using our installation at HUL, Hamburg and I also tried it on your community-OpenOLAT. In both cases it did not work. The export results in a file with the name “wiki” but the file does not get the extension .zip. Therefore, it cannot be imported as a CP-Content into a course.
I then renamed the file adding the extension .zip. This worked. The file was then imported properly as CP into the CP-Tool of my course.

 

Conclusion: The process of exporting works but it could put people off finding a “funny” file; a minor bug, but the exported file needs the extension “.zip”.

I just tried and had no problems whatsoever, the wiki correctly exported as „wiki.zip“ and automatically unzipped on my local computer. The generated CP works just fine. 

Can you please send me a screenshot which link you use to generate the export and tell me which operating system in version and which browser in which version you are using.

You can follow the issue here: https://jira.openolat.org/browse/OO-2523

The mime type is correctly set to zip, however Windows ignores the mime type and requires the file extension. Whatever, I added the extension, that should do the trick for you. 

It’ll be part of 11.2.2 that is scheduled to be released later today.
