I have just updated the installation manuals for both, the PostgreSQL and the MySQL installation. There have been little bugs.
In your case, I would have a look at the changes where we introduce the setenv.sh and the .bashrc - and please, do not forget to activate the .bashrc by either logging out and in again or by issuing the command . .bashrc
