The OpenOLAT 10.3 release is an iterative evolution of the 10.0 release and contains all 9.0.x to 9.4.x and 10.0 to 10.3 bugfix packages, you can download it from here: http://www.openolat.org/downloads.html

The OpenOLAT 10.3 release focus on two major issues: a brand new task and group-task element and a new reminder tool in the course.
The existing task element in the course has been completely redesigned to be simpler and more intuitive to configure and to use. A clear workflow is implemented which is reflected in the GUI using a workflow progress bar. In the the new task element is available in two flavors: task and group task. While in the normal task element every single students gets a task assigned to work on in the group task element the task is assigned to a group of users. The group works on the task and the result is also submitted as a group, not as an individual. From the coaching perspective the grading process has also a group view with the option to override the group grading to perform individual adjustments for each group member.
The reminder tool offers a great way to improve the communication with your students and enhance engagement. Multiple rules can be defined with dedicated messages which are sent to students whenever a rule matches. For example, send a welcome message when someone registers to your course. Or send a reminder to do the pre-test one day before the due date of the pre-test. Or send a reminder to all users who did not yet fill out the questionnaire. The possibilities are endless.
