Allowing users to self enroll in a course with an access code on olat

Hi There.
Our goal is to create an test associated with a text book.
Users would receive an access code and use that to be able to self enroll in an olat course that included the test.
From my reading of the documentation it seems like we'd have to create a group, allow users to enroll in the group using the access code, and only allow access to the course if the user is a part of the group.
Is that right, or is there a better way to acheive allowing users to register and access a course based on an access code?

Hi Graham
You don’t need the group, just configure the access code directly on the course. Open the course, go to course access configuration in the course menu, publish the course the registered users (BAR) and add a access code booking method at the bottom of the page.

Hi Florian.
I am guessing that is not possible with our version of OLAT given we don't have the course. menu. Is that right based on the screen shot i sent?
