To store Scorm package on a server location other than local system through which it is getting uploaded

Hi,

We are using openolat as a base for our application. For scorm package upload , currently scorm package are stored on local location e.g. D:\openolat\olatdata\bcroot\repository\specific_folder name.

Now i have to store uploaded content on some server location. Can anyone plesae suggest me how should i go forward for this.

I found from where that path exactly getting extracted but i am not sure how can i change that for my purpose and where it is going to impact.

Please revert me for this asap.

Hi Mamta

OpenOLAT is designed to host content in its own database. If you want to build some external repository you have to figure out yourself how this can be done. 

Note that when you plan to deliver the actual SCORM content to the browser from another server you might run into cross-domain security issues. Depending on the setup browsers might not be able to access the SCORM API from within the content when the content in the iframe is delivered from another server.
