openolat on UBUNTU 12.04

i need to runopenolat 9.3 on UBUNTU 12.04

If i need  to run OpenOLAT in production, i am stick with Linux flavour and database is MySQL and Application server is jboss 7.1.1 . This is our way to test and operate

Could you please tell me what are the changes required in files like olat.local.properties and whether it's works with same functionality.

sorry, I don’t understand your question. OpenOLAT 9.3 runs fine with ubuntu 12, mysql and jboss. There are no OS specific configurations in olat.olat.properties.

You CANNOT deploy OpenOLAT on JBoss 7.1.1, there is a bug in the hibernate version of JBoss AS 7.1.1 which prevent OpenOLAT to start. You need to upgrade hibernate in JBoss AS 7.1.1 or use JBoss AS 7.1.3

That say you can check out OpenOLAT and read the small setup guide. You find it in the root of the project: INSTALL.APPSERVER.README

Than you can build a WAR file with the maven command

mvn clean package -P-tomcat,jbossas7

And I repeat, support for JBoss is experimental.
