Hi, i've a problem with Microsoft Lifecam studio HD.
I've installed openmeetings 1.9 on server linux ubuntu 10.04.
I've installed a client with ubuntu 11.10, firefox 8, adobe flash
11.1.102.55 and java sun 1.6.
I've a Microsoft Lifecam studio Hd that works with other application;
so when i test it with audio and video in the preview windows it
works, but when i enter in the room the screen is black.
If i changed the audio device with the internal realteck, it works and
i can view the images.

So if i do the same thing in windows client it works correctly.

Have you any ideas?

I'm guessing it's a problem with Flash in your browser and/or your local drivers, and not the server.  Remember you need to tell Flash to allow access to your local hardware.  Does the camera and mic work with other Flash multimedia apps?

Hi, i've tested it with skype and cheese but it's not flash
application.
Where i cant to test it?

I've launch firefox with export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/
libv4l/v4l1compat.so firefox;
if i enter in openmeetings with video from lifecam and audio from
realtek it works; I later changed and
set video from lifecam and audio lifecam microphone and it works.
As if by openmeetings directly with audio and video from the lifecam
audio work but the screen remains black.

I think this is an audio driver problem...

I'm installing 1.9.1 version..
