New Moodle Module 1.2 for OpenMeetings

New OpenMeetings Module Version 1.2 for Moodle

with the new integration and OpenMeetings version 1.8.3 you can now create separated users in OpenMeetings with the access-level "SOAP-Only".
The "SOAP-Only" user can do exactly what is needed to run the integration but nothing more. This does result in no need for any OpenMeetings Admin-User in the Moodle Module config! So you can better protect your OpenMeetings server from non-authorized access via the SOAP Gateway and
no need to share confidential account data."SOAP-Only" users can not login to OpenMeetings administration or manipulate user accounts via SOAP.

It is recommended to update to the latest version of OpenMeetings (1.8.3). Moodle Mod 0.9 for Moodle 1.9.x is still compatible with OpenMeetings 1.8.3 and you can also use the new secure user with access level "SOAP-Only" with the old Moodle Mod 0.9.

New features of Moodle Plugin:
- Secure "SOAP-Only" user access level (see documentation on top)
- 3 Moderation Types for Conference Rooms (Moodle admins, teachers and course creators are automatically a moderator):
Moderation Type A) Participants need to wait till the teacher enters the room
Moderation Type B) Participants can already start (first User in room becomes moderator)
Moderation Type C) Every participant is automatically moderator when he/she enters the room
- New Flag "Allow Recording": You can set in the room configuration now a flag that controls if the recording button is available or not
- Fix Icon in Moodle Course overview and edit page
- Fix Issue when deleting a conference room from a course (all conference rooms where deleted from all courses)
- Add/Fix Moodle Mod languages: German, French, Spanish (OpenMeetings itself has around 30 languages)
- Clear and restructure conference creation form for Moodle moderators

I don't kno, if it is intended to use the moodle avatar user picture in openmeeting,
but I had no success.
I think there is not the full link transfered to openmeeting.

Have a look at the demo platform at moodle.openmeetings.de. Avatars should be fine.

The param has not to be wrong just because it is value 1.

Yes, the demo works. So I have an issue on my installation.
I do not get the user picture from moodle into openmeetings.
1.8.4 using moodle plugin 1.2 on moodle 2.1.2

what else can I check?

You could either use Firebug to see if there is an issue with the URL or edit the view.php to run the debug version of OpenMeetings (by commenting out the line http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/source/browse/trunk/plugins/moodle_plugin/view.php#175 )

You should see something like "media timout" in the client side debugger.

I think the demo platform on moodle.openmeetings.de is also Moodle 2.1.x.

I could send a copy/paste of the debug text, but there are so many IP adresses etc. included, so I don't like the idea until you might want to look at it.

You should copy paste that string and see if it works if your enter that URL into the Browsers bar.

Are this client side errors all in a row or did you sum up all errors from a bigger logfile?

mediaerrortimeout: 30000
=> this is of course an error to look at. That is likely to be a request of an image that did not receive any answer.

the errors are collected from a huge debug stdout

moodle and  openmeeting are on diffrent servers.
the  link to the picture is working as long as the user is loged in.

You need to be loggedin into Moodle to access the Conference Room Via Moodle, thats clear isn't it?

=> Except if you are loggedin into Moodle as "guest", then you will receive the default Moodle image.

I can live without - but it makes sense to have this working.

I now totally remove the mod_openmeeting and try installing again.

which downloadurl did you mentioned?
the moodle downloadurl for the user picture or something else?

I first understood the moodle-pic downloadurl.
