Performance issue

Hello all,
 
I am looking for suggestions on how to fix a performance issue in openmeetings. 
 
I am testing OM in combination with moodle and whenever I connect to my own server (Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with  120Kbytes/s upload
connection,)  get into an audience room with more than 5 people,  the video and audio become choppy and slow. 
 
Is it a bandwitdh issue?

yes audio stuttering is always a indicator for bandwidth issue.
