Dear OpenHMIS community members,

Tomorrow, we are holding our monthly HMIS community call. As usual at 14:00 CET / 13:00 UTC / 08:00 EST.

AGENDA
Please suggest any item you want to discuss during this call. Just reply to this email!

CALL
We will connect using Zoom rather than AdobeConnect/current dial in numbers.
If this will be the first time you are accessing Zoom, please plan to join the call a few minutes early to download any necessary plug-ins.

Zoom allows screen sharing, white boarding, recording, etc.  It does not, however, bridge with the current dial in numbers.  There are some international numbers available through Zoom.  If you do not see your country listed here (https://IU.zoom.us/zoomconference?m=q_jWtx2a39OsNycM6WkKRsSMstPVc4rG), please use your computer's audio using a headset.

Join from PC, Mac, Linux, iOS or Android: https://iu.zoom.us/j/661719408

Or Telephone:
    Dial: +1 408 638 0968 (US Toll) or +1 646 558 8656 (US Toll)
    Meeting ID: 471 524 150

MINUTES OF THE MEETING
The collaborative notes will be completed during the call here: https://wiki.ohie.org/display/resources/2018-02-06+HMIS+Community+Call

Make sure you have this page opened during our call, so you can add your comments and contribute to the notes.

Best regards,
Simon Pettersen Nguyen

Hi Simon -- could I please suggest that we focus tomorrow's call on the ADX-HIV work item being progressed during the upcoming IHE technical committee meetings to be hosted by the University of Oslo. A first draft -- focused on the Volume 1 text -- has been prepared by James Kariuki (attached). Also, there are a number of important points which have arisen from the work to-date, particularly around a standards-based way to express age-disaggregation ranges.
I don't know if Bob and James will be able to attend but I will be on tomorrow's call and will be happy to help guide the discussion as best I'm able.
Warmest regards,
Derek

Hi Derek and all

Its not very likely that I will make call tomorrow sadly. I will if I can.

For your entertainment and edification I've attached a little java
snippet showing some parsing and basic manipulation of age group type.
The benefits of following ISO8601 start to become clear quite quickly
