Dearest Friend,
Praying this finds you well and having a wonderful day. God is so
faithful to walk with us each day and reveal His spender to us in all
we see.
This has been a full week, both the boys have had to have hospital
visits but I thank the Lord for watching over them and my daughter,
Brian got his finger cut last night at work and required stitches,
being Brian, he went back to work after they stitched him up. I can
rejoice for through all this week I can see the mighty hand of God in
everything.
Have a good week and remember, " You Never Walk Alone " a promise from
God.

When I read the joke this week, I was reminded of the couch we tried
to give away. We were moving into our 5th wheel and we sat the couch
out by the street with a free sign on it. It was a real nice couch but
after hours, no one took it.
My brother said, I am going to change the sign, he wrote $50 dollars
on it and it was gone in the next 15 minutes. We tried to tell him it
was really for free, but he said no, he wanted to pay for it.

Eph 2:4-10 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love
with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made
us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and
raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places
in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the
exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ
Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not
of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone
should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in
them. NKJV
1 Peter 1:18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such
as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life
handed down to you from your forefathers, 19 but with the precious
blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
Acts 8:20 But Peter said to him, "Your money perish with you, because
you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! NKJV
In this world everything has a price and people have become suspicious
of things that are free. They always figure there is a catch
somewhere, or it is not worth having. Most people will only take what
lines their pockets because the world had shown us greed and take care
of self.
When it comes to salvation many think it is to high of a price, some
think it can't be that easy , that there is a catch somewhere. Jesus
already paid the price, Our salvation was not purchased with money; it
took the blood of Jesus Christ, the spotless Lamb of God (John 1:29).
His death was planned by God ages before we ever were born; yet, God
in His grace included us in that plan! How grateful we should be, and
what better way is there for us to show our gratitude than to
surrender our all to Him
Jesus shed His precious blood to purchase us out of the slavery of sin
and set us free forever. To redeem means "to set free by paying a
price." A slave could be freed with the payment of money, but no
amount of money can set a lost sinner free. Only the blood of Jesus
Christ can redeem us.
The truth is, and God cannot lie, you have a choice, you can except
the free gift and be free eternity or refuse it and be in bondage for
eternity. I think we should all really think on this poem written by a
woman who realized where she was going.
I gave My life for thee,
My precious blood I shed;
That thou might ransomed be,
And quickened from the dead.
I gave, I gave,
My life for thee,
What hast thou given for Me?

A good question, indeed! I trust we can give a good answer to the
Lord.
Love in Christ
