Hello,

I have been using the old versions of INET and INETMANET on OMNET++
before but after my computer crashed, I had to install them all over
again. I have installed the OMNET itself without any problem. Every
time I try to install INET, or INETMANET, the package does not get
imported into OMNET properly resulting this error after running any
examples that are included in the package (INET and INETMANET).

<!> Warning: opp_run: The specified module could not be found

whatever it is, there is something wrong with this library:

The framework is not successfully compiled, you should check the building
trace and discover were the generation failed. Probably the error will be
that the file RSVPPacket_m.h is not found

RSVPPacket.msg create RSVPPacket_m.h and RSVPPacket_m.cc

open RSVPPacketmsg, write and delete a carriage  return, save and build

Hi there,

I managed to fix my problem with importing INET to OMNET from the IDE.
The only thing that I did is this.

As Anfonso said find this: "RSVPPacket.msg" open it in a text editor
or omnet text editor. Add and enter at the end of all codes. Save it.
Now build INET again. This will resolve the compilation error we all
got before.

Cheers,
Shahin

Thanks for your help Alfonso. I managed to get INET to work. Now my
problem is importing INETMANET. During the compilation I get this

"inetmanet-inetmanet-b381c9e" this the file name that I unzipped and

Downloaded it from https://github.com/inetmanet/inetmanet.

There are two or more inetmanet framework there. Inetmanet-2.0 is updated by you, Am i right? so i used this, please help me, how to proceed my work? I wrote the complete steps if anything wrong , kindly correct it?
Thank You..

1..  install current version of omnet++ (4.2 v i used)
2.   now type command omnetpp to work on IDE . ( i already typed ./configure and make).
3.   import framework INETMANET ( import--> git--> git://inetmanet-2.0) the source is right, i just typed hint.
4.   now inetmanet has imported in current workspace.
5.   build project..
6.   fix the errors.

anything left here or all steps are correct?

Your help is too much importance for me.

The steps are correct.

The compilation problem is, usually, with the file RSVPPacket_m.h, that is not found, in this case it’s necessary to change the date to the file RSVPPacket.msg and the framework will continue building.
