I have been using the old versions of INET and INETMANET on OMNET++
before but after my computer crashed, I had to install them all over
again. I have installed the OMNET itself without any problem. Every
time I try to install INET, or INETMANET, the package does not get
imported into OMNET properly resulting this error after running any
examples that are included in the package (INET and INETMANET).

Subject: [Omnetpp-l] cannot find the library libinet.dll
Hello,
Regards,
Shahin
--
I managed to fix my problem with importing INET to OMNET from the IDE.
The only thing that I did is this.
As Anfonso said find this: "RSVPPacket.msg" open it in a text editor
or omnet text editor. Add and enter at the end of all codes. Save it.
Now build INET again. This will resolve the compilation error we all
got before.
Cheers,
Shahin

Hello,
**** Build Finished ****
The steps are correct.
The compilation problem is, usually, with the file RSVPPacket_m.h, that is not found, in this case it’s necessary to change the date to the file RSVPPacket.msg and the framework will continue building.
The omnet was correctly built? This messages show that there is a problem with the omnet core
I suppose that you have omnet 4.1 and omnet 4.2 installed. it’s possible that you have a path conflict
No, it isn’t necessary delete always that you use the adequate shell, you must start the correct mingwenv and compile the code or start the omnet in this shell,
