1.8.0.111-3 release page:

This release contains the following changes:

- all Java sources are included into src.zip bundle; now debugging of
all jdk-internal Java packages (sun.*, com.sun.*) should work
- updates for FreeType, NSS and timezone data dependencies
- Update Notifier utility is included with MSI installer

Notifier [1] utility can check for new MSI versions periodically (checks
version descriptor from here [2]) and show system tray notifications
when update becomes available. Schedules for updates checking and
showing notification can be controlled using Windows Task Scheduler.

Notifier is completely optional and is not installed by default.
