Recording of the 1st OERu Management Committee meeting

The recording of the 1st Meeting of the OERu Management Committee meeting is available (including a copy on Youtube). 

I will be posting minutes of the meeting and decisions on the agenda page ASAP .  

I felt that the 1st meeting went well, but we need to optimise the feedback loop from viewers. We'll learn by doing.

Thanks for your interest and contributions from the conveners of our working groups - 100% attendance for our 1st meeting!

Yes, the chat function didn't seem to be working well.  We didn't seem to be able to talk with one another, but it also didn't seem as if our questions/comments were getting through...although I often use chat to contribute random thoughts that I hope will eventually be useful, so it doesn't matter if they are acknowledged immediately.

Hi Joyce,

The questions were recorded but with apology I forgot to activate the Q&A feature on my display <blush>. 

Chat is extremely valuable in virtual meetings like this. I suggest that in future we use the WENotes feature and #OERu tag on Twitter for the back channel chat for the next meeting.  The value of learning by doing - we will get better with each iteration.
