Best font for default model?

Hi, new member here...
I'm printing out some score cards for people to hold up during an interactive music evolution demo/installation in a couple of weeks (http://darwintunes.org at http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/festival). Hopefully ocropus will be able to figure out which cards are being held up (more on this later).
I wondered which font would give best results with the default model (I am short of time and would rather skip training) - in other words, which fonts went into the default model? I couldn't find this info on the web.
If anyone has any experience with webcams and cropping out non-text I'd love to hear from you (I'll be testing macbook 1280x720 webcam images later - fingers crossed).

(PS. Any suggestions of non-OCR solutions would be appreciated - I tried SURF model comparisons without much luck already, however. Was wondering about QR-codes...?)
