0.5.4 linerecognizer problem

[fpasto]

when i run

ocropus tests/testpage.png

1) the display window which pops up on ocropus-gpageseg is blank.

2) the orcopus-hocr reports certain txt files not found.

Any idea what is happening.

I tried 

ocrotest-pages -d tests/tespage.png

gives an error

Attribute error: cmodellinerecognizer instance has no attribute

Any help will be highly appreciated.
