1. Sacrificing Children to Molech
No one claims to worship the god
Molech these days, but child sacrifice is still practiced. Many of our legislators are trying to find a
way to end the practice. SB 1552 is the
only mechanism which is still alive in the legislative process. However, it has not been scheduled for a
final hearing and vote in the Senate.
Please call your senator first, and then contact the others to ask them
to vote yes on the House amendments to SB 1552 and send it to the governor.

2. Program May 18: Candidate Interviews
This Wednesday at noon at Mama Roja we will continue interviewing candidates who have a primary election on June 28, 2016.
Kevin Crow is running for the open seat in Senate District 23 (Chickasha) vacated by Sen. Ron Justice. Joe Newhouse is running for the open seat in Senate District 25 (Bixby) vacated by Sen. Mike Mazzei. After the interview process, our dues-paying members will vote on whether or not to endorse candidates.
3. Shadows of State Power: Education
In their latest edition, The Oklahoma Constitution newspaper ran a great piece on education titled “Shadows of State Power.” Please read it here.
4. OCPAC Endorsements
For Senate District 19 (Enid) OCPAC endorses Greg Ingle.
For House District 67 (Tulsa) OCPAC endorses Scott McEachin.
