++  AGENDA FOR THIS WEEK’S MEETING

Our 12 noon luncheon for Wednesday, January 7th 2015, will be held at Olivet Baptist Church, 1201 Northwest 10th street in OKC. I am really excited about this week’s meeting as we will have Mr. Rafael DeCardenas as our speaker this Wednesday. Rafael is Cuban by birth, American by Choice and considers himself fortunate to be an Okie. As one who escaped the tyranny of the Castro brothers communist reign, Ralph has stayed engaged in the struggle for the benefit liberty for the Cuban people. He will provide important information about the meaning of the new relationship with Cuba as a result of President Obama’s dictatorial change in our dealings with Cuba. Ralph has been in contact with important sources in Cuba that have defined how the change will work and what effect the change will have upon the Cuban people. Ralph has informed me of his sources but it is too dangerous for me to mention them in the e-mail. We will tape the meeting, but might have to edit out the names of the sources before putting it on you tube. You do not want to miss this week’s meeting.

Please pay close attention. Conservative activists clearly understand that John Boehner, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, is very moderate and clearly a go along get along puppet for the Establishment. What is needed is a Speaker that is willing to stand up to President Obama, to fight for conservative principles and stop caving to liberal Democrats on important issues.

The election for the next Speaker, begins tomorrow, Tuesday around noon, just after the morning swearing in ceremony. Our Oklahoma U.S. Representative Jim Bridenstine is leading the way to oust Boehner and replace him with a better Speaker. Therefore it is imperative that you contact your personal U.S. Representative immediately, especially newly elected Representative Steve Russell and ask him to vote for a Speaker other than Boehner (just announced, Representatives Ted Yoho (R-Florida) and Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) have thrown their names in the ring for Speaker. Following is the contact information for everyone except Bridenstine:

Markwayne Mullin, U.S. Representative District #2  -  D.C. (202) 225-2701, McAlester (918) 423-5951, Muskogee (918) 687-2533, Facebook: /CongressmanMarkwayneMullin, Twitter: @RepMullin.

Frank Lucas, U.S. Representative District #3  -  D.C. (202) 225-5565, Yukon (405) 373-1958, Facebook: /RepFrankLucas, Twitter: @RepFrankLucas

Tom Cole, U.S. Representative District #4  -   D.C. (202) 225-6165, Ada (580) 436-5375, Lawton (580) 357-3121, Norman (405) 329-6500, Facebook: /TomColeOK04, Twitter: @TomColeOK04.

Steve Russell, U.S. Representative District #5  -  D.C. Capitol Switchboard (202) 224-3121 (ask for Steve Russell‘s office),   I don’t know his local number as yet and won’t give out his cell number. Facebook:  /SteveRussellOK,  Twitter:  @SteveRussellOK.

Besides Oklahoma’s Jim Bridenstine, Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Ted Yoho of Florida, Louie Gohmert of Texas, Paul Gosar of Arizona, Dave Brat of Virginia, Marlin Stutzman of Indiana, Walter Jones of North Carolina and Steven King of New York have all vowed not to support Boehner and others are sure to follow by tomorrow as it only takes 29 Republicans to force the issue to pick another candidate. Several of the newly elected members ran on a platform of not supporting Boehner and a poll this past week shows where the people who voted for Republicans stand as 60% said they want a change, 25% still favor Boehner and 15% are undecided.

In a recent article in the paper, Steve Russell said he would support Boehner because no one else was in the race other than Nancy Pelosi and those choices were a no-brainer. That is no longer true with Yoho and Gohmert now in the race (Gohmert would by my personal favorite). Steve need not to worry as Pelosi will never get more than 188 of the 218 needed for the position.

If Boehner fails to win on the first ballot the Republicans will get serious about finding another candidate. More importantly, if at least 29 conservative Republicans will stand together, they can make sure it will be the most conservative Representative possible, though it might be someone other than Yoho or Gohmert.

I had a long list of announcements and tidbits, but this is so immediately important, I will send out a second e-mail on Tuesday or Wednesday evening with the other information. Please make your calls or electronic contacts or both immediately as this is critically important.

I look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday.
