1.  Program August 8:  Rep. Jon Echols, Judicial Tyranny

Rep. Jon Echols (R-OKC) scored 90 on the 2015 Oklahoma Conservative Index, and with a lifetime average of 90, he will receive the “Charlie’s Overall Conservative” award.  Rep. Echols will speak to us about what our legislature can and should do to tackle the tyranny of the courts.  Specifically, he will talk about the Ten Commandments opinion, marriage in Oklahoma, and abortion in Oklahoma.

Remember, God is sovereign and we are his ambassadors.  We delegate power to our administrators in the state, and then to the federal government.  The feds work for the states, the states work for the people, and the people need to hold them all accountable to absolute standards.  When we have representatives like Jon Echols come to visit, it is a good time to hear what our administrators are doing for us, but it is also a great time to demand of them that they administer justice, so that our political bodies will stop doing immoral things to us.  We expect and demand no less of our hired public servants.

2.  “Invoking the guidance of Almighty God…”

“Invoking the guidance of Almighty God, the Oklahoma City Schoolboard…”  “Invoking the guidance of Almighty God, the Edmond City Council…”  “Invoking the guidance of Almighty God, the Canadian County Commissioners…”  “Invoking the guidance of Almighty God, the OU Board of Regents…”

You get the idea.  How would you feel if every one of these governing bodies began its meetings and deliberations with prayer to Almighty God?  Would that even be constitutional?  Probably not, according the Oklahoma Supreme Court.  In my opinion they just may be the most liberal, tyrannical, God-hating, anti-Christian court in the whole country.  How do I know?  Because their recent fallacious opinion regarding the monument of the Ten Commandments when carried to its logical conclusion would mean that the Oklahoma Constitution itself would be unconstitutional by its own standard of constitutionality.

The Oklahoma Supreme Court completely blew the Ten Commandments opinion in a move to support their progressive political agenda.  The section of the Oklahoma Constitution they used was not designed to keep religion out of government; it was designed to keep government from funding and supporting particular religious sects and denominations.  We will cover this in our meeting this week.  So, if the OK Supreme Court’s opinion was correct, then we would have to also ban and remove the Oklahoma Constitution which begins as follows:  “Invoking the guidance of Almighty God, in order to secure and perpetuate the blessing of liberty; to secure just and rightful government; to promote our mutual welfare and happiness, we, the people of the State of Oklahoma, do ordain and establish this Constitution.”

Our nation was not built on majority rule; we are not a democracy.  Our nation was not built on elite, corporate rule; we are not an oligarchy.  We do not have a king or a dictator.  We were founded on the rule of law, and that law upon God’s law.  God’s law is our king, and everyone is subject to it.  Entire books full of quotes from our founders have been written to prove this.

In 1215 King John was so tyrannical that the lords and barons, the local authorities, forced him to recognize and obey the rule of law.  We know that event as the signing of Magna Carta, which occurred 800 years ago this summer.  There would have been unhappy consequences for King John had he not agreed to the rule of law.  When will our local authorities put our rogue supreme courts, both state and federal, back under the rule of law?  Our governor and legislature work for us as our administrators of justice.  Wringing their hands over problems is not good enough.  We demand that they administer justice.

If Michigan, of all places, can call a special session of their legislature to defend their people’s right to work, surely Oklahoma can call a special session to loudly proclaim to the whole union that we defy Washington’s lawlessness, that Oklahoma and the other sovereign states are the creator and boss of Washington, not the other way around, and that Oklahoma will follow the rule of God’s law which demands we defend innocent unborn children and not sanction, condone, or endorse homosexual behavior.

I am looking forward to hearing Rep. Echols tell us that the legislature has plans to address our grievances.  However, there is still no word from Governor Fallin on when and how she will protect and defend our state from federal judicial tyranny.  We are ready to rally in support of justice, but who will raise the standard?

3.  Tornado Magnet at the Mansion

If you heard any local news this week, the governor got in a bit of trouble for allowing her daughter to live in a trailer behind the Governor’s Mansion.  Progressives think of Oklahomans as red necks, but a trailer park opened by the governor next to the capitol has got to be proof positive.  Pretty funny.

All joking aside, Governor Fallin is only behaving as any normal person would.  She wanted to be able to use and direct property that is under her control as she sees fit.  This is proper.  City codes and ordinances that tell people what cars they can park and how many chickens they can have are unfair, inappropriate, and immoral.  In my neighborhood I often see the City Busybody poking her head over fences with a camera searching for code violations.  Through the coercive power of government, they fine and fee, demand and control.  They will not let you feed yourself, water yourself, or even work for a living from your own home.  If I were the governor, I would laugh at the whole thing and demand the repeal of a slew of fascist ordinances.  Use this great opportunity to teach the people about freedom and the right to private property.  The only real harm posed by the trailer is attracting a tornado to one of our historic sites.
