But in every other newsgroup that I post to, I almost always praise
New Zealand and point out how much better it is than America. Here,
there are some people of such levels of assholiness that I feel
compelled to do just the opposite. In real life, people make me really
love New Zealand. On this newsgroup, they make me pity it.

Then I remember that there are so many more and MUCH better assholes
back in the States and all is right with the world again. Keep tryin'
boys.

That's probably because it is.

Here, you don't get to choose who you hang out with. In real life, you
hopefully do.

Well..personally, I prefer the NZ assholes (and we call them arseholes) to
their American counterparts.....they seem much safer somehow, less likely
to pick up a six gun and blow you away.

There you go again, boosting the US. Our arseholes are much
bigger than yours even if you've got more of them.

Who plans these sorts of things, Ms. Duckmarton? Usually asshole

No Dave, that's the one just behind the urethra. Maybe you mean 'Middle

The front passage, as any fule no, is the bit of your house that leads
from the front door to your living room.

hence:

Doctor: Have you been using the suppositories I gave you?
Patient: Yes, but they haven't worked.
Doctor: Did you put them in the back passage as directed?
Patient: We don't have a back passage in our house, so I put
them outside the back door.
For all the good they did I might as well have
stuffed them up my arse.
