Hi,

Has anyone else got this message after applying Windows 2000 SP4?
We rebooted the computer the message went away.
This is concerning because we just implemented Automatic Updates Services
and now rolling out Windows SP4.

We are using Netware Clients 4.83 and 4.83 sp1.

The error message appeared on a computer with 4.83 sp1.

Thanks,
Carlos

The message is a Windows code and means "STATUS_SHUTDOWN_IN_PROGRESS".

you are trying to login. You should investigate what program could
possibly shut down your workstation even before you login. Maybe it's the
"Automatic Update Services"

Marcel,

Thanks for the info.
I have a look at the update service.

Cheers,
Carlos
