Hi - I am a new registered user and look forward to many years with this excellent program.
I am also a user of Treepad, and one feature I see there that I cannot see is duplicated here is hyperlinks WITHIN a single article. In other words, I anticipate that each article/note will end up being fairly long, with the text scrolling down off the screen in many paragraphs, and I am hoping that links can be set to take one via hyperlink not only to the top of the particular node/note, but also to a particular location WITHIN the article/note.
As I understand it, Treepad does this via an ANCHOR and LINK system, where Anchors can be set anywhere in a note.
Does Notecase Pro have this feature (perhaps I am missing it)? Are you planning on adding it, or could you add it to the to-do list?
I scanned prior questions here and saw one on Linking, but not *within* notes to particular places within a single note (I hope I am clear on that function; if not, let me know).
That also raises a question in my mind -- since you allow imports from Treepad files, how are you handling anchors within notes? Are those simply being stripped out?
Thanks for your fine program. I've been looking for something over the last several weeks that seemed feature-rich, under active development, and with a user forum such as this where questions could be asked. I am a longtime Ecco-Pro user and think this is likely one of the best "replacements" for that. I also intend to use this to develop lesson plans and export to HTML, which it looks like you have great features to do. This use for the development of "lesson plans" with fairly lengthy articles/notes is the main reason I am asking about this "internal-within-a-note" anchor/linking ability.
Thank you very much!
