Legends 5K & 10K Sunday July 10th

It looks like it will be perfect weather for the 13th annual Legends of the Redwoods 5K run/walk & 10K run on Sunday July 10th. The course is fast and flat on well-maintained gravel roads through Beckstoffer Vineyards and paved Ruddick/Cunningham Road. Strollers are allowed. 

Where:  Mendocino County Office of Education, 2240 Old River Road, Ukiah (Talmage area)

When: Sunday July 10th; 8 am start; Registration at 7:00 to 7:50 am

Register: active.com by Friday 7/8/16 5pm

Fee:  Entry fee with t-shirt (while supply lasts) is $22 for adults, $20 for NCS members and $5 for 18 & under without shirt ($10 with shirt).  

Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall male/female and 1st in each age group receive medals. Ribbons will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place in each age group.

Age Groups: 0 to 9, 10-13, 14-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+

This event is generously sponsored by UVMC, Beckstoffer Vineyards and The Mendocino County Office of Education.  This year’s race will benefit the Ukiah High School track and cross-country teams and the North Coast Junior Striders Summer Program .
