The 14th annual Legends of the Redwoods 5K Run/Walk will take place on Sunday July 9th, 2017 startiing 8:00am. The start and finish will be at the Mendocino Coounty Office of Education, 2240 Old River Road, Ukiah (Talmage area). Race day registration will be 7:00 to 7:50 am. This year's event will benefit Ukiah High School Cross Country and Track Teams. The fast, flat out-and-back course features a well-maintained gravel road through Beckstoffer vineyards. The course is ideal for kids and strollers. The race is generously sponsored by UVMC, MCOE and Beckstoffer Vineyards. For more information call Gail Leland 485-7821.
