Upcoming Deadlines and Scrimmage Information for NorCal FLL

Hello Coaches & Community members,

1. Scrimmages: Scrimmages are a very important part of tournament preparation, especially for a rookie team.  SIGN UP for upcoming scrimmages or create a post if you are looking for scrimmages or hosting a scrimmage.  See EVENTS on the right hand side, for scheduled scrimmages.  We have a best practices page on how to organize a scrimmage.

 

2. Team Change Deadline: The deadline for changing team members or team names is *this* Friday 10/20.  Changes can be made on your FIRST account.  For team member changes, be sure to update your NorCal team info form (aka JotForm) to match your FIRST roster.

 

3. Tournament Registration Deadline:  The deadline to register a team for a qualifying tournament is *this* week.  If you plan to compete please register ASAP.  To register complete your FIRST registration, payments and NorCal team info form (aka JotForm). You can check your Team Status, if everything is completed, a registration link will be available on your form.

 

4. Verify Registration: If you registered for a qualifying tournament, please check your Team Status and verify that you are registered.  Check next to the “Registered for NorCal Qualifying Tournament (QT)” box to see your selected venue.

 

5. Team Volunteers:  Coaches please inform your Team Volunteer to wait for the Tournament Director to contact them directly and assign them to a volunteer role.

Please pass this along to your team parents and others in your community that might be interested in FIRST LEGO League and encourage them to join this list.  Information is included at the bottom of this email on how to subscribe, unsubscribe as well as the link to visit the archive on the group's webpage.
