On 3/5/19, Newton Police arrested James W. Krahling, age 45, of Plymouth Lake Drive, Stillwater, NJ for thefts totaling approximately $25,000.


Krahling, is the current President of the Newton Roller Hockey League and an investigation revealed that he specifically used league funds for personal purchases.  The investigation started when another signatory on the league bank account observed unusual purchases.  


Subsequently, Newton Police discovered that Krahling had used the Newton Roller Hockey League debit card to purchase numerous things for himself. 


As a result, Krahling was charged with the following offense:

N.J.S. 2C:20-3a   Theft of Moveable Property (3rd Degree)


Krahling was processed and released pending an appearance in Sussex County Superior Court on 3/27/19.
