On 10/30/18 at 7:45p.m., a cooperative investigation by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotic Task Force and the Newton Police Department resulted in the stopping a 2003 silver Honda Accord on Hicks Avenue which was being operated by Michael Black, age 39, of Dingman’s Ferry, PA.
Passengers in the vehicle were identified as Joshua Lindfors, age 29, of Dingman’s Ferry, PA
Timothy McClain, age 37, and Alicia Stabp, age 37, both of Newton.
Subsequently, McClain and Stabp were found to be in possession of heroin and hypodermic needles.
As a result, they were charged with the following:
N.J.S. 2C:35-10a(1) - Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Heroin) (Third Degree)
N.J.S. 2C:36-6a Possession of Hypodermic Needles (Disorderly Persons)
Michael Black and Joshua Linfors were also arrested and each charged with:
N.J.S. 2C:5-2a(1) Conspiracy to Possess a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Heroin) (Third Degree)
In addition, Black was issued summonses for:
39:4-49.1 Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle
39:3-10 Unlicensed Driver
39:3-76.2f No Seatbelt
All 4 were released pending court appearances.
