MV Stop/CDS Arrest. Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 On 4/5/19 at 10:07p.m., Ptl. John Flanagan stopped a vehicle on Water Street for a speeding violation.

Subsequent investigation resulted in a small amount of marijuana being found within the vehicle along with two metal grinders (with marijuana residue inside) and an electric vape used for smoking marijuana.  Also recovered was a multi-colored glass pipe. 

As a result, the driver of the vehicle, Summer Barnes, age 24, of Lafayette, NJ was arrested and charged with the following:

N.J.S. 2C:35-10A(4)   Possession of C.D.S.  (Disorderly Persons)

N.J.S. 2C:36-2             Possession of Drug Paraphernalia  (Disorderly Persons)

 

Barnes was also issued two motor vehicle summonses for speeding and C.D.S. in a motor vehicle.

 

She was released pending a 4/23/19 court appearance.
