On 12/13/18 at 9:12p.m., Ptl. Edward Sperling conducted a motor vehicle stop on Park Place on a 2010 Honda Civic for an expired registration.
Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver, Jordan Vail, age 23, of South Street, Franklin, N.J. was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia (rolled cigar containing suspected marijuana).
As a result, Vail was charged with the following offenses:
N.J.S. 2C:35-10a(4) Possession of CDS (Marijuana-less than 50 grams) (Disorderly Persons)
N.J.S. 2C:36-2 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (rolled cigar containing suspected marijuana (Disorderly Persons)
Additionally, Vail was also issued motor vehicle summonses for the below violations.
39:3-4 Expired Registration
39:4-49.1 Possession of C.D.S. (Marijuana) in a motor vehicle.
Vail was released pending an upcoming court appearance.
