MV Stop/Arrest, Possession of CDS, Poss. of Paraphernalia, Hypodermic Syringe

On 5/26/18 at 12:51a.m., Sgt. Michael Monaco stopped a black 2000 Jeep Cherokee for having a loud exhaust.  Further investigation revealed that one of its passengers, namely Jessica Stone, age 26, of Seaside Park, N.J. had an active arrest warrant out of Ocean County. 


A search incident to arrest revealed a quantity of methamphetamine containers, a hypodermic needle and a bag containing less than half of an ounce of Heroin.


As a result, Stone was charged with the following offenses:

N.J.S. 2C:36-2   Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Disorderly Persons)

N.J.S. 2C:36-6   Possession of Hypodermic Syringe (Disorderly Persons)

N.J.S. 2C:35-10a(1) Possession of CDS (Heroin)  (3rd Degree)

 

Subsequently, Stone was turned over to Ocean County Sheriff’s Department on the Failure to Appear warrant.  

 

Case pending court.
