I know there are a lot of dopes out there who have come into computer
services through America Online, but please remember that some of us do know
what we're doing, and we are faithful readers of this mailing list.

We who have been faithful to AOL have been put through trying times with our
own system -- connection failures, busy signals, sudden bounces, slow
response times (I, for one, never want to see the words "For some reason the
host has failed to respond" again in this lifetime or the next) -- only to
find out the professional propeller-heads on the Internet want to ban us
because of a few dummies.

So, be nice to us, OK? And now, may we please go back to talking about food?
Some day all you guys are going to have to come up North for a real Wisconsin
perch fry or else a bowl full of booyah, hey?

ummmmmmm.....yummmmmmm, Janet. How 'bout if I come SE for it? Being a born
and bred "'Sconnie" myself (Wild Rose, WI and Milwaukee--yes I know these
places are 120 miles apart, but its one of those half-and-half things), and
being myself employ"mentally" banished to Minnesota - where they wouldn't
know a fish fry if it bit 'em in the booyah....well let me just say that
terms like perch fry are enough to make this pregnant Wisconnie-at-heart
cry. Oh, no, those aren't tears on my keyboard...it's drool.

Please pardon my dalliance from the subject matter at hand, but I couldn't
contain myself.

BTW... I got pregnant in New Orleans...does that qualify?

Janet--

If you're really into food you might take a look at FOODWINE. The address
is: list...@cmuvm.csv.cmich.edu. I know that there are a few FOODWINE
detractors on the NO list but lately I've been getting more NO messages
than FOODWINE and it's a fun list, especially if you're into food, wine,
ect.

I can understand that! I am considring AOL or Delphi cause the
mail server here SUCKS. I am on Compu$erve but they charge
too much for internet access to use if for lists.

Could someone tell me about AOL and Delphi's pricing structure
(mail to me not the list probably would be more appropriate).
Do they charge per byte of mail? Per Message? What?

Thanks.
Louis
