It's probably wishful thinking but I'd like to track down a single
B-7971. I'm in the process of building a clock and one of four tubes I
have is a little reluctant on a couple of segments. Perhaps it can be revived with some extra current?

I'd give it a dose. My experience is these small segments respond pretty well to treatment. Just be careful not to overdue it
