Hi, I recently noted that there were some Raytheon CK1414F10C monoscopes
on E-bay that were going for buy it now $20.00 + $10.00 shipping. I bought
one for myself and 4 more for members of these groups that live in Europe
as the seller only shipped to the US. Well I find that I have one of
these tubes on the shelf all ready so I would like to sell this one. It
comes with the original box and a test document listing all the measured
voltages and currents for the specific tube. The foam packing turned to
dust so the tube will be bubble wrapped put in its box and then that box
will be boxed.
I am asking $27.50(I got a shipping discount from the original seller.)
plus the actual cost of shipping to the purchaser plus paypal fees if
you pay that way. These tubes don't come up very often.
The shipping to Europe was $17.88 first class international mail for the
other people just to give an idea of the cost.
So to repeat $27.50 + shipping to you + paypal fees if you pay that way.
Thanks Tim Laing

I'd be quite interested in it! I can even offer a National Union 122P1 CRT to sweeten the deal.

Here's a pic of it next to a 1DP11. It has the same 3/4" diameter, but it's longer.

- Cheers,
John

Tim,

I just got mine from you, thanks. Very nice tube. Cleaned it up - needed a brass brush/bit of wire wool to clean up the pins - target (character set) on these monoscopes is very usable - I really want to power it up.

The test sheets are quite informative. It'd be good to produce a driver board with an AVR or somesuch and a VGA/DVI output + a serial/USB input to make a "ticker" or similar (or dare I say it, a clock?)

Hi Nick, I am glad you got the tube in good condition. PLEASE keep me in
mind if you make up something with an AVR I would love to have the tube I
have come to life. What do you think, a retro scope clock? I sold the
CK1414 I got with the rest of you because I found a RCA 1698 monoscope on
E-bay for $41.00 and I wanted to buy it. I have spent way too much on
tubes lately ARRGH......must stop......feel will power getting
weaker.....ARRGH..... you probably know the feeling. Well I need to get
to bed, work again tonight 12.25 hour shift. Tim L.
