Hi folks,

Thought somebody here might have an interest in our upcoming meeting
on Thursday June 16th at 6:30pm at the Amoskeag Business Incubator in
Manchester NH. The meeting will start at 6:30 pm with socializing/
networking followed by a presentation starting at 7pm.

Meeting:
Thursday, June 16th: Charles E. Dean, Director of Unmanned Systems
Products, QinetiQ North America, Waltham MA, will give a presentation
regarding the use of QinetiQ's robots in Japan.

Immediately following the Japanese earthquake and resulting tsunami on
11 Mar 2011, QinetiQ North America sent personnel into Japan to assist
with TALON robots that the Japanese already have and to seek ways to
further assist the people of Japan. On 12 Mar 2011, QinetiQ North
America offered to the Prime Minister of Japan the free commitment of
QinetiQ robots. The offer was accepted and today, QinetiQ robots are
playing a major role at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. Charlie
Dean will provide a presentation on QinetiQ’s work in Japan.

Something to keep in mind regarding the ABI, the ABI's doors close
from the outside at 7pm, so if you get there late, you can call my
