Hello Everyone,

is there a possibility to see a total of the time needed to accomplish
all the tasks in a certain view?
I have a todo view, where I have all the tasks shown that I need to do
today (Flag defined as do this week and starred) and I have a view
where all the tasks this week appear (Flagged as to do this week). In
order to decide, how much I can pack into the week and into my day it
would be very helpful, to have the sum of the task duration shown
somewhere, so that I can directly see, that 20 hours of work in a day
would not work out.
Today I do this with my calculator, which is time consuming and not
very easy to do.
Anyone with an idea how to solve?

Thank you very much in advance.

You can do a print preview, where it shows you the total time required
for all tasks in a view, probably easier than to use your calculator.

Thanks a lot, this is a least a good work-around which I was not aware
of, as I never do prints.

thanks for this..funny, that little change, being able to see a total
time for tasks in view, has opened up a whole new aspect of MLO for
me.. never used the task times before as it was just too much detail,
but I can see the benefit now if it enables me to judge how much time
my tasks in view are expected to take up..

I'm impressed that MLO can generate this kind of information!

Now it would just be nice if the next version could serve it up in a way that is more accessible. Say one of the "instant" summaries, like it does with the number of tasks contained in a view.
