Hi, can't help much, as I'm using Windows + android. But just in case... have you instaled recently any ads blocker application?

I hope no one minds the double post . . . but I posed this question a few days ago in the MLO iPhone forum and it hasn't even had any views yet, so my sense is that I'm likelier to get help posting it here.

My iPhone has stopped syncing. When I try to sync, I get the message "unknown error" (see attached photo). I cannot think of any significant change between the last successful sync (which was several days earlier) and when I started getting this message.

This happened to me before when I was syncing to my iPad, and I managed to get syncing going again by (1) deleting MLO and packing up my iPad; (2) restoring my iPad to default settings, then restoring to the last backup (i.e., the one where there was no MLO); (3) downloading a fresh copy of MLO; (4) re-pairing the iPad to my MLO file.

Unfortunately, that procedure has not worked for the iPhone, and I've tried it several times. The iPhone pairs to the MLO file fine, it just won't sync once it is paired up.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Greg

No, I haven't installed any ad blocker software (at least, not knowingly). And remember, the iPhone PAIRS just fine, It just won't sync.

Hi Greg

Can you please try to create new test simple data file on your iPhone, create new Cloud file and sync new iPhone data file and new Cloud profile – what is the result? Please let me know. Thank you!

Thank you for your suggestion but I have not purchased an MLO cloud sync subscription. Can I get a test account that I do not have to pay for? Or do you have sign-in information for such an account?

I've since discovered that the problem is with the specific MLO file I am trying to sync. (I tried setting up new MLO files, using the default templates, and was able to sync a few of those.) Since the problem seems specific to one file, I've attached a screenshot of the file properties. Is there anything about the file properties that would preclude a sync? For example, is syncing limited to a certain file size or number of tasks?

I also tried cutting and pasting all my tasks from this non-syncing file into a new file. That new file would not sync, either. I would pair, but not sync.
