I've already raised issues with the sorting of tasks on iphone but I
now have an issue I can't unravel with the Windows version of MLO.

I have a bunch of tasks, some have weekly goals, others monthly/
yearly and one has no goal. I'm using computed score priority and
moved the slider for sue date to max and the others to min - in an
attempt to get a list in due date order. But I get a few weekly goal
tasks (with due dates) in ascending date order followed by some with
no due date, then followed again by a bunch of tasks with due dates
(in ascending date order). Importance and urgency are all at the same
level. ?????????

I have found that if you want a view in a hierarchical format of Due dates then sorted by other criteria, you shouldn't use "computed score."

Go into the filters for the Todo view and select the sort button.  Then sort in the order you actually want to use.  Personally, I no longer use "computed score" in any of my views but especially in views where I care about "due dates."

Thanks Neal. I guess I was focusing on computed scores because I also use iphone version and MLO told me that the iphone version only supports computed score  sorting. Strange decision but hopefully one that will be reversed at some stage!!
