There is a View you can select in the MOVE (to) dialog (you an choose Projects, Goals, Tasks, etc.

But when I select Projects, it's showing me stuff other than just projects. It includes the tasks within the projects. This makes it very dificult to see the Projects and select one.
I do have a Projects view that I defined which (when I choose it within the To-Do list view) shows me just the Projects.

How do I change the view:Projects so that it shows me just the projects when I'm trying to MOVE a task?

Thanks!

Pretty sure you can't. I think the best you can do is collapse the
outline and navigate from there.

Maybe not a perfect solution, but maybe you want to push F6 = Collapse entire outline

This at least "hides" all subtasks.
