Hello together,

does everbody know if there will be a ported android version for the
playbook ?
The OS of the playbook will recieve an major ( and long expectd )
update in february.
One of the new things will be that android application will be then
available.
Since RIM offers developer a special tool to convert ( with an minimum
of effort, they´re talking about minutes)
their apps into the RIM Android App World, i would like to request to
convert MLO to this.

Gents, i really would appreciate that, since i´m a proud MLO user for
years and
still struggling that i couldn´t have it on my playbook ;-(

So please let me know if "my hope´s" will be fullfilled, or if i have
to
change ( what i definitly not want ) to another programm,

Thanks and have a good day.

Best Regards

I would love to see this as well, but I'm not particularly hopeful since the BlackBerry phone version has been dormant for a while now.

I will chime in as well. I use and am very happy with the MLO desktop
and BB variety, and will be thrilled if a playbook friendly version
were released.

+1 on that.
Playbook is great, and 2.0 has made it the best Tab out there, hands
down, if you have a blackberry phone. It's also quite competitive if
you own it standalone. Since 2.0, I have downloaded a lot of
officially ported Android apps from Appworld, and sideloaded at least
30 great ported Android apps (only a few of those are game...). They
work really well, and I see no reason why MLO couldn't make money on
Appworld.
I use the desktop version on Playbook via Splashtop, so all is not
lost, but a native app or Android port would be the best.

Some Android apps may be converted from .apk to .bar. But unfortunatelly MLO for Android doesn't work in such case. I hope MLO for PB will be released.

For what it's worth, I was able to get MLO to work on my Playbook.  I converted the APK to a BAR and sideloaded MLO.  It didn't work until the last update in the fall (2013).  Now it works perfect, so it is possible.

Can you post the bar file somewhere for us?
