JOB: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Lectureship in Musicology (one-year)

The Music Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill solicits applications for a one-year lectureship in musicology, broadly conceived, starting 1 July 2021. The lecturer will teach six courses (3+3) for music majors, general undergraduates, and graduate students. The teaching assignment will include core undergraduate surveys as well as courses in the lecturer’s area of expertise. Review of files will begin on April 20, 2021 and will continue until the position is filled. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. UNC-CH is an equal opportunity employer. Applicants will have completed a PhD by July 1, 2021 in Musicology, Ethnomusicology, or a related field.

Teaching experience at the collegiate level is required.
