The spec has been in CR since Feb 20. On Oct 30 the CSS and SVG working
groups approved it to advance to PR.

*Summary*
The 'isolation' property makes the rendering of an element a new stacking
context. The main reason for this property is to limit context of the
blending of one of its children.

This property landed in gecko last month behind the
layout.css.isolation flag.

This feature is currently shipping in Safari 7.1 and 8

*Blink:*
Blink implemented this feature but it's still behind a flag. We're making
good progress on extending their compositor and are getting ready to ask
for shipping.
